I've never used XBC, but it's all everyone mentions here and at the MLG forums.

Has anyone here used XLink Kai? Is XBC better? Or did it just come out first and is more popular?

XBC will work fine with your 360. However you may experience slight skips in your gameplay. This happens on the 360 with Halo:CE due to frame rate issues. Its most noticeable in the beginning of a match and during sick battles, usually resulting in favor of the 360 (in my experience) :mad:

I've noticed it lagging before, but I never realized it was my system. I got H:CE when it was first released, so assumed it was my disc.

All the original xboxes I've played in recent memory were modded, so we don't get lag or frame rate issues unless we're on a modded map.

i dont play opn a 360 but i have and it laggs a bit but not too much it depends on the tv

XLink Kai is far more stable and connect friendly but I prefer XBConnect by a landslide. It's very user friendly.

i only use kai when xbc is down thts the only time its needed it laggs muchmore than xbc its redunkulous

XBC is what i do for halo 1 but if i wanna play halo 2 i get on kai since it generally has more players playing halo 2

Yea, for H1? or just more people in general? If it has more H1 players, than we need to advertise PWNALL on there and get them to make a switch over to XBC

I think so too! Seriously, the only way to get people on board with this idea is to advertise it. I know that everyone knows this already but I think we should take this serious and make a huge push of advertising.

Both tunnel programs are fine but XBC is far better.

. PM system that doesn't suck
In xlink you can't pm people who are offline. If someone sends you a PM and then goes offline that PM is deleted

. Better profile system in general.

Has a spot for your Email address.

Games you own list is alot better (if people actually set their's up)
With xlink it only shows the first 3 or 4 games in alphabetical order and depending on the length or the game names. Were in XBC you can scroll down a list of all the games that person owns.

. Better Layout
No clicking tabs going back and forth. Were in xlink if you click the friends tab you will exit the game room you are in.

With XBC you don't have to click differnt tabs for each genre of that system, then scroll the games in alphabetical order looking to see if there are people in that game's room and if their is a server made.

. Most of all after useing xlink it can block you and other players when you use XBC! so duel hosting (hosting on both programs at once) can be problematic.
You join a room and it can block you/other users from connecting.
To fix this you must restart your comp.

I posted on the Kai forums to let people know about bringing back H1, but I think they don't like XBC being mentioned so frequently.
