man, it was more like an 'expansion' pack, probably consisting of a whole lotta unsed material, leftovers & scraps from the previous title(s), that they trying to make some money of off. All in all, I think it was 'weak(/week)' like 7 days.....

Pistol is a campaign only addition. And if you try to kill a shielded enemy with it, your just wasting ammo. It's only good for headshots.

I had an opportunity to buy it from Newegg during the black Friday weekend for $40, I'm glad I passed it up now. Damn, Bungie sure is stupid when it comes to what makes a game balanced and fun. Maybe when it gets down to $25 or $30 I'll buy one.

i remember before halo 2 came out, there was a video somewhere of all the bungie dudes LANing at one of their houses which was completely decked out for LANs, they were playing shit like battle creek shotguns no shields

it enraged me

i wonder if bungie has ever seen a competitive timed game of halo?

i wana go to bungie studios and show them a timed game on xbc

It's on the DVD in the documentary that comes with the Halo 2 collector edition.
That whole documentary is self-incriminating evidence on how incompetent they are at planning and time management.

Paraphrasing --> "We worked really hard on the E3 demo but now we realize it wont run on a retail xbox. So we have only 9 months to throw the game togather from scratch"

"We artists have nothing to do at this point, so we get paid to twiddle our thumbs untill we are needed"

Not to mention BS Magzine interviews and hands on stuff.
