Over the years people have been posting their Halo gameplays/montages on youtube. I feel like there has been a resurgence of this as of lately. Players, including gspot, patch, sicfuc, shade, and even me have been posting gameplays on youtube as capping devices have gotten better and now that youtube has extended the amount of time on an upload (15 mins). This amount of time is perfect for Halo: CE 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 battles (TS) etc. :)
I encourage everyone to record Halo. It's fun to show others and go back and watch what you have recorded. You can also learn from your mistakes, which makes everyone a more decent player. Here are a couple youtube sites that I now upload to. Since I don't have much access to LAN (as of lately) I've just been uploading XBC off host 2v2 TS. I have a Hauppauge HD PVR capture device. I encourage everyone to get one of these. Here is a link to my two youtube sites and to a Hauppauge tutorial on youtube. This is just an idea of what you can do. What is also cool is once everyone starts doing this, we can all subscribe to each other's accounts, and when someone puts a new game up we'll get email notifications about it. Check out my subscriptions. I've got patch, sicfuc, jeenyus, shade, gspot, etc...

YouTube sensations come and go like the weather, but YouTube is here to stay. What started as a quirky website that allowed people to share their home videos and disseminate their opinions has blossomed into a media giant that draws millions of viewers worldwide. What this means for business owners, is that YouTube has become an excellent way to leverage their web presence.
At first glance, YouTube's traditional identity might seem opposed to the presentation of business interests. Yet, the opportunities that exist through YouTube are similar to those that exist through Myspace, Facebook and Twitter. Because the sites draw millions of daily visitors, it makes sense to include your business in their communities. Yet, as with social networking sites, the problem with increasing your web presence through YouTube is finding a way to distinguish your videos from the rest.
For most companies, optimizing their web presence begins with consulting with an SEM and SEO expert. Without the aid of search engine marketing and search engine optimization, most websites have an abysmal page ranking and receive less web traffic than sites that harness the power of SEM and SEO. Therefore, the first step in leveraging your web presence should be having an SEM expert analyze your target audience, competition and marketing strategy.
Then, having an SEO expert perform keyword research and implement a Pay per click (PPC) campaign, among other measures, increases the quality of your web traffic, increasing sales. From this point, the marketing and optimization process focuses on increasing your web presence to drives sales, and listing videos on YouTube is a great approach.
To get your videos seen, SEM and SEO consultants perform YouTube optimization. YouTube's search engine initially ranks a video according to three criteria: the description of the video, the title of the video and the tags that are assigned to the video. Therefore, just as keyword research is essential to driving quality website traffic, it is essential to driving quality YouTube traffic. Obviously, customers can be redirected to your YouTube videos form your website. But it's important to remember that customers can also be redirected to your website from your YouTube videos.
In addition, while most shoppers use traditional search engines to arrive at product and service listings, many shoppers prefer to see video on a product or service instead of reading web copy. Furthermore, YouTube videos are an excellent way to familiarize someone who is looking for information on a product or service with your particular product or service, thus engaging them in the first phases of the sales process.
While web video is often said to be "the next big thing", social media consulting that focuses on YouTube optimization is still one of the most underutilized aspects of leveraging web presence. To the extent that making sales involves distinguishing yourself from the competition, YouTube videos are currently one of the greatest opportunities for companies that conduct web business.
If you think that YouTube is just an entertainment site, think again. Social media consulting that focuses on YouTube optimization is helping companies leverage their web presence like never before. In doing my research for this article, I found the best resources at SEOResearch.com. They are a team of Search Engine Optimization experts who stay ahead of their competitors by keeping up with the daily changes of Search Engine Marketing on the World Wide Web.
