View Full Version : Modding H1 maps and importing Custom editions maps

Im interesting in importing custom edition maps onto my xbox. I hear Arsenic does this but so far I can't even get it to run.

Also does anyone know if you can mod weapon damage, movespeed, jump height and such and get it to import into the xbox version. I'm just interested in making some random gametypes. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I can't help you as far as the last stuff you mentioned, but yes, Arsenic CAN definitely import CE maps (depending on the size of the map).

It took me a bit to get it to work. It actually never worked on my computer but worked on my parent's computer immediately.


I've actually converted maps that have different settings like the ones you're talking about, weapons being different, different damage or something. I can't really remember the specifics because I was like "EWWWWWW" and quit immediately, but it's possible somehow.

the 2nd since the 1st 1 is a tad harder to do:

the easiest way to do this is to have the xbox maps and mod them on your pc/mac (pc is easier). 4 player speed and jump height there in bipes cycborg mp (mp= multiplayer) and weapon damage is on jpt (damage) easy stuff

Yah Ive changed the values, recompressed the map, and ported it to my xbox. But after I've tried to port them I don't notice any difference in gameplay on my xbox.
