i know this is the wrong forum for this, but i don't care its more likely to get seen here.

instead of having a section dedicated to each region of the country - why not have a large map with icons representing each player?

just like this one: http://www.tourtracker.com/artist/primal-fear/1260706

except make it with halo players. make it more interactive obviously - but this would be far superior. people could put email addresses. id put my phone number, but with all the spam bots that might be a bad idea.

this way you dont have to sort through pages of posts. you just look on the map and see if any icons are near you, or near where you are going.

how bout every halo player gets an iphone or droid, enable gps tracking, and someone makes an app to upload their location at all times. then feed it whatever site with our USA map and have moving icons, real time.

this would help for someone like me who flies all over the place, and might randomly end up in a different city. like right now, i'm in stroudsburg, PA to tow a banner over the nascar race tomorrow, but i'm usually in NY and NJ.

so who's gonna make the app?

i suppose it doesn't necessarily have to be an app. could just make a map with icons. was just a site suggestion, its not like someone HAS TO DO IT or anything. im no computer guru, but it just doesn't seem that something like this is really that absurd to consider. if no one wants to do it, i guess ill just accept looking like an asshole for suggesting it.
