man i miss the halo pistol. the single greatest gun ever mad in a game. with leading, random shots in the circle, and 3shot or 5shot to body, it truly is a gun where you cant just point and kill....you HAVE to have skill

Obviously everyone loves the pistol from H1, it'll always be a staple in H1, but I've always liked sniping, no matter what game. And sniping on H1 was soo much better than H3 and H2, it actually took skill. The sniper's got my vote.

Apparently I'm one of two who said Plasma rifle. Not too good at medium range, but at close to med. range its hard to beat. Throw a grenade and freeze em in place or freeze em and smack them while you run by. Useful against tanks, ghosts, and warthogs. Used as a part of a good team, devastating. Not to mention the fast melee rate.

I love the Pistol. It is one of the most epic weapons ever for halo. I decided to go with the AR because I have had alot of fun with it in previous games.

Every weapon has its place. But I agree that the pistol made H1.

rockets by far... managing to get away with rockets against good people is very difficult, but its very satisfying when you start destroying with them.

also @ proph, shotgun and assualt rifle arent useless!

Voting for pistol had to be done - the Halo CE Pistol is one of my favourite guns from my gaming library. Bungie made a big mistake removing it, and the pistols that replaced it were just depressing. Second place is the Needler, devastating against Elites, and third is the sniper, for satisfying kills.
