What is your favorite Halo 1 level?

Also, in this list, I did not include Sidewinder, Boarding Action or Chiron TL 34 because they are either too large or just not truly designed for competitive multiplayer gameplay.

i love rat race just an amazing map it was a hard choice but im gunna go with it still all the maps none the less are absolutley amazing!

I'm 50/50 Derelict /Hang 'em High, but I figured lots would vote for Hang 'em, so I rolled with Derelict.

Good for FFA, Team Slayer, Oddball, KotH, and CTF.

I love hang em, but lately ive been liking chillout and damnation alot. Chill out is alot of close quarter fighting compared to hangem where is usually a long range pistol battle. And damnation is good because the cloak can be blown to numerous areas of the map unlike hang em where you have to run over it....aside of top power up of course, but that comes every 3 mins and its rotating.

i love dammy already and yea i started to like chilly once again i used to love it then started to hate it but i think its because its horrid on xbc but still fun none the less

i love to play hang em high ctf and dammy ctf on xbc
however, I remember spending Christmas at my cousins house, and every year we would all get together (about 8 or 10 of us) and play 4v4 ctf.
We'd play every map, well almost every map, seeing how we spent about 20 hours a day playing halo over the vacation lol. So I love playing side winder ctf and boarding action ctf ON A LAN! Blood gultch ctf is lots of fun too.
I like those maps on a lan because you could communicate with your teammates. Communication is a major advantage to winning any halo game. and on xbconnect you can't always communicate with the people you are playing with.

I went with Blood Gulch. Not because its the best map, but because we usually play team slayer and with 8 or more people. I like the "big map" feel and the well lighted areas. Not to mention how much being able to use vehicles adds to the game play.

I have always really liked Hang'em High as well as Chill Out. My least favorite are probably Wizard and Derelict.

Hang Em High without a doubt. The map is just brilliantly set up, and the little creak/2bridges in the middle hold great AR battles. Pistol from the catwalks, snipe from the corner bases; the map is amazing.

BC is the best map for all gametypes, chilly is the best 2v2 slayer map, Derelict is the best CTF map, RR is a great 4v4 TS map, HH is the worst 4v4 slayer map because of gay ass red spawns

each map is amazing and requires so much strat and map play its awesome...i personally like dammy but all of them are good due to the fact you either bait power up or rocks or you camp them so its just a fight for either one and makes out for a gg
