Could someone recommend a good brand of crossover cables? I'm looking for a 10 footer that actually works. The kind that Office Max sells suck, and the last Best Buy I was at did not even sell crossovers. And I won't lan 2's on a router.

Don't tell me to make my own...apparently Lowe's ONLY sells ethernet cables without the ends to them, and my father and I tried making my own a few nights ago so I could play and I couldn't figure it out. So f that.

Links would be helpful :)

sorry i cant help you but yea making them is very simple... but as you said you cant get the supplies. If you cut a usb cable its real simple.

Radioshack has some good crossovers, MLG Dallas that's where we went to get some so we could set up a LAN in the hotel...good times. (also then again that was a few years back...but i would assume that Radioshack would still be your best local-store option)
