What are the funniest things you've seen/done in CE, or what are the most memorable things you have done in the game?

The funniest thing, for me, is when I was in campaign on Truth and Reconciliation (Legendary). I was escorting Cpt. Keyes and all of a sudden a marine tossed a grenade next to Keyes. I was in the middle of a 1on1 with an Elite, when I saw him fly across the room. I was so pissed, but laughing as I saw his body hurl into a wall.

well prob when campaign modding halo on xbox and pc... many many fun times. For legit though one time on dammy i was up high and started getting shot. So randomly i just spun to face behind me aiming down, shot, and got a random headshot. I flipppppppped.

my best memory ever was back in the good old days, like 04 or 03
i was at a lan at some dudes house, i dont think i had ever even met him. anyway we were playing like 4v4 oddball on damnation, and the dudes we were playing all had good shots but all they did was fucking charge, complete newbs.

anyway, i got the oddball and im at overshield, next thing i fucking know i have ALL 4 guys shooting me from waterfalls. im like wtf, so i pick up the ovie and throw the ball into the pit. they immediately stop shooting and all 4 of them dive after the ball and die. it was really fucking funny.

ive witnessed a few fist fights over halo, one of my friends kept telling the other he sucked and he just got up and hit him in the face. those arent usually funny, until a few years later at least.

i remember beating RNX n Vaporize's team on the main stage @ 50k3...me xXx n BoO go down there as a team of 3 and get stuck picking up HaloBob (the clap's cousin or something)....BA snipers we told HaloBob to hide the whole game inorder to win the series, he was soo terrible...after we win vaporize is in shock and instead of getting up and leaving the station, he goes into Fuzion Frenzy, and starts playing twisted system by himself...xXx got it on video from the side, shit was pretty funny at the time...anyway fuck goin to tourny's without a full team of 4, idk wut we were thinkin :cool:

It has to be playing Combat Evolved in its entirety with a friend on a day off School. It took about 9 hours, involving warthog races, `accidental` friendly fire, a 12-pack of cola, dropping grenades onto each other from high distances and him inadvertantly turning the system off just before we started on The Library. Friendships are made of this stuff.

me and Thug beating Walshy and Slim 2v2 in dammy. walsh, of course says, "GG" and then you just hear Slim's voice echoing through the LAN center, "FOILER!!! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!!!!!" made me lawl.

there's not much mention of it on this board, but halo tricking/glitching was pretty big back in the day

when my buddy and I first discovered warthog/shade jumping etc, we would stay up all night tricking this incredible game

getting on the blue beam tower for the first time, getting on top of silent cartographer for the first time, top of sidewinder and blood gulch, bottom/top of damnation

there's a million times i'll never forget. when i finally snatched the banshee in the maw in single player and got the checkpoint, i freaked out

halo CE is the best game of all time

Once one of my friends shot a flying corpse with rockets and killed himself.

Then another time I was falling of top powerups on HH sniped at one player but missed and headshot another player far behind him.

Then at the VA memorial lan it was 48-47 my teams losing HH 4v4 and they are all top blue. Severence looks at me and says" Im getting you a random ok?" It spawns me top blue and I get a nine-shot triple kill winning us the game. I jump and yell "TRIPS ALL THREES". and Patch looks at me with hatred in his eyes. He then preceded to shit-talk me everytime I died next game, was hilarious.

I made this video for my friends really, mostly just to show some stupid plays or some nice headshots, but who doesn't love H1 gameplay? Anyways, the part at about 2:21 where I projectile stick myself, definitely an H1 moment. All lan clips with my lan buddies from 2 weekends.

It was at a friends Lan, it was 3v3 CTF Battle Creek. I picked up fresh Overshield, ran into the enemy's base when they're about to cap a flag, get a nasty triple kill using my sniper, and after stumbling for like 10 seconds, found the flag and returned it.

I was playing some H1 1v1 with my dad and some insane stuff went down. First on Chill Out, I was in camo room and my dad is on the teleporter cat walk, the other ledge, and he throws a nade at me, my screen flashes and I blind fire and no scope in the face. We were both speechless.

Also, I was able to get Pwny's maps to work so we played 1v1 on Exhibit, and my pistol caught fire, I was 3-ing and spawn killing him that he quit. It's great though is that close-mid range I can 3 almost every time, I got the rythem down.
