UNSC weapons vs. Covenant weapons

Which weapon set would you rather play with given the choice, and Why? I'll go ahead and list each for you so you don't have to google it for yourself.

What would I choose? I would go with UNSC, for the Pistol's sake.

I hate the sword and every cheap assed thing about it. Nothing says "Halo 2" like the sword. The only good thing about Halo 2 is Halo 2 CE!!! No thanks to Bungie.
