It's Bungie's newest game that they are working on. Supposedly it's going to be on the competitive side. But well see.

What we do know so far is that is the BR is single shot. And they returned to the health blocks. And at least for the campaign they have included perks.

Looking at it... looks pretty lame. And doesn't really fit the storyline at all. None of those weapons were on Reach(or I guess just not good enough to be mentioned in the book). But does that guy have a carbine needler? Weapon is weird looking.

I refer to it as the Needler-Carbine Super Gun. Apparently from the same source that gave us the pictures, the gun kills in three needles. That does not sound balanced at all. Unless the needles can't home in, and they slow the firing rate significantly.

I guess it could kinda be the Covenant Rocket Launcher. But the Fuel Rod Cannon already has that spot. So whatever.

As far as all the new weapons are concerned, Bungie's probably going to pull a "Well they were just prototypes back then, and the Spartans got special permission to use them." Whatever the Halo story is already pretty shaky.

i heard it was a new engine but still. Forza 3 uses a new engine but it feels very similar to forza 2 just certain things have better graphics and more triangles.

No it's on a new engine.

But one thing I hope Bungie doesn't do is have the health blocks regenerate. Being that the system is the same health system from H3, but this time it shows how much health you actually have. I wouldn't put it past them to do something like that.

im not gonna get too excited yet... i fell in love with halo 1 about 2 months after it released.. then i got excited for h2, got h2 and h3 on their opening days only to eventually go back to my first love(H1)..

fool me once shame on you.. fool me twice.. and im gonna wait before i buy your next stupid game!!

Its called a beta bro... you can play the game before you buy it. Come out sometime in 2010, but it IS confirmed that theres going to be one.

Yeah you do. One of Bungie's brilliant marketing schemes. Along with the fact that you have to buy ODST to get the Mythic Maps.

No way in hell I'm paying 60 bucks for a 4 hour campaign, a Fire Fight mode I'll only play like three times. And three maps. Biggest ripoff I have ever seen. Even if they are giving us Midship.

Well you could rent it to get the beta. But you still gotta pay $10 to rent it for a few days, so not like it's free. Bungie sucks.

Bungie is always going to find a way to screw its customers over. You have H3, and you need to throw more money at it to play it how you should play it whey you originally bought it. Now you need to buy ODST to get the Mythic Maps and the Reach Beta. Most of us here are too smart to fall for their shit, but there are always the ignorant bunch that want the Halo title on their shelf.

Rent the game for like 10 bucks, rip it for your collection, get your Mythic Maps and the Reach Beta, you save millions of dollars. Piece-o-cake people!

From a business standpoint I totally understand Bungie's decisions. But as a player I hate them for it.

Ya i think Forza 3 is very similar to forza 2 .. just certain things have better graphics and more triangles.
