Well... I think it's a total chick flick vampire movie which in itself is an oxymoron, But I liked it... and New moon looks even better I am looking forward to that one.

My girlfriend is an avid reader, so of course, she is a huge fan of the book series. I went to the movie with her. It was funny. I actually laughed out loud when he smelled babe's scent or whatever in the classroom. He made it look like what actually bothered him was the fan blowing the paper into his hand, which I for some reason found hilarious at the time. The largely 13-17 year old girl crowd, did not.

the books are poorly written, but i'm still in the middle of reading the first one

the movies are horrible; i laughed out loud the first time i saw it. i've seen Twilight a few times. and the casting of k-stew as bella is horrible. she's way too awkward (example-when she's getting out of her dad's car at the beginning, clutching onto a cactus..awkwarddd)

but it's awesome. i can't get enough twilight. i hated it for so long but now i love it.

My wife's an avid reader, so of course, she hates the series with a passion. She can read almost anything and Twilight was the first book that I've seen her not finish. And she can read a 500 page novel in an afternoon.

The movie, however, was tolerable as a chick flick. I laughed so hard when he sparkled, but so did she. The story was interesting enough that I'll probably rent or download New Moon to watch with her.

It's hard trying to watch it as a romance and not a vampire movie. Goes against my geeky tendencies.

Yeah I tend to not like some of these covers that these movie companies or distributors come out with so I make my own and sometimes I make ones that aren't even out yet like new moon... star trek when it wasn't out yet and transformers:revenge of the fallen as well lol

Yeah the wolves are bad ass... They are freaking HUGE! standing on all fours they are taller then a man... Nice concept and graphics.

I guess my question is, would you recommend I read the books and then see the movie, or is that just a waste of time and should just go to the movie for a badass experience?

Well.... if you want a bad ass experience the wolves definitely make it worth it cause they are a refreshing twist on an old genre but the book from what I am told are better and the movie is only a little different then the book... although the ending is way different.

every single woman in my life loves the books (my gf has read them all at least twice).........I head they left a lot out in the movies.........but they have grown on me. Ill cant wait to see the next one myself........:cool:

If you want to see some badass werewolf animation check out Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. It's not a great movie, but I like it way better than Twilight.

Twilight is amazing series of television show. It all about vampires which make it most interesting. There are excellence scenario of romance with some horror effects which make it more attractive.
