This is a "Japanese" Duke. Didn't know they had Japanese dukes, but I never liked dukes so never paid attention to them. Japanese S's were awesome though, so that's probably a good one!

I bought an unopened S from someone on Ebay a week ago, he was also selling unopened Dukes. But he looks like he is sold out now. If he puts any up I'll let you know.

i had same problem 3 weeks ago when i started playin on reg box again. call all your local gamestops and game stores and ask if they got any. there like 9 bucs now i brougt as many as i can and only 1 or 2 are decent.

There is no such thing as a Japanese Duke. What he is selling is a rare pre-production controller used at trade shows when Microsoft was first showing off the xbox around the industry.

Needless to say, I bought it. Worth more than $9.99.

i wonder if how that controller feels. any duke user thats been playin for long time know that not all dukes are made the same some have really loose sticks some have really tight sticks. tight sticks = smooth pistol.

Whats so good about Dukes? I tried using one, and it seemed too large to me. Is it just preference?

Mostly. I just got so used to using one that when everyone switched to the S, I just didn't like it. Plus, the Duke was the first controller that doesn't give me cramps if I play for too long. I think I could have gotten used to the S if they hadn't moved the white and black buttons.

@s1cfuc: I actually prefer loose sticks (so to speak).

@ProphLEET: I'll get some pics up when I get it. How much are you selling the controllers for? We have H1 LANs every couple of weeks and it's hard to keep good controllers in stock. We actually went around to every pawn shop in town and bought all the official Microsoft controllers we could find. Pissed me off, too. I swear I bought back 3-4 of my controllers that went "missing" after a our big Christmas LAN last year.

I Love the Duke sticks. Much more smooth and more loose. I switched the Duck sticks and put them on my S controller. I am looking for the sticks to put on my 360 controller. God I love those sticks!!!

the duke is built for men. theres no advantage over s type its just if you got big hands and ur not a 12 year old girl or asian then duke will feel better. n u like loose sticks?? crazy ill buy 10 dooks just to have one tight one i hate the loose sticks. loose sticks is like a loose vagina yea you can still play with it but its not gona feel as good.
