Red Tail is the story of a few African Americans who are talented and skilled pilots of America. But because of the colour of their skin, their accent, the way they speak and walk and talk, their origin they all do not get a usual chance to show their skills as a pilot and are usually given land oriented jobs to do. But during the time of the World War II when all other white pilots are busy or are dead Col. A. J. Bullard calls of these pilots in to serve for the nation and show them what have they got.
